Specification:

- Can be controlled both manually or by MCU
- REC – Module records when button is pressed and stopped when released. The module starts recording whenever REC pin is HIGH. This pin must remain HIGH for the duration of the recording. REC takes precedence over either playback(PLAYL or PLAYE) signal.
- PLAYE – Playback, Edge‐activated: When button is pressed and released, the whole recording will be played once. When a HIGH‐going transition is detected on the PLAYE pin, playback continues until an End‐of‐Message (EOM) marker is encountered or the end of the memory space is reached.
- PLAYL – Playback, Level‐activated: When button is pressed the recording will be played until the button is released or the recording ended. When this pin level transits from LOW to HIGH, a playback cycle is initiated as long the pin level remains HIGH.
- RPL - This mode play the recording in repeat loop.
- Speaker Outputs – The SP+ and SP‐ pins provide direct drive for speakers with impedances as low as 8Ω.
- MIC – The microphone input transfers its signals to the on‐chip preamplifier.
- FT – Feed Through: This mode enable the microphone to drive the speaker directly. The speaker will play the sound detected on the microphone.
- Operation Guide
- Push REC button, the REC LED will light up, keep the button pressed until record ends.
- Release the REC button
- Select Playback mode: PLAYE: push one time to playback all of the record or power down; PLAYL: push this button to playback and release to stop or end ; Short P‐E jumper to playback the record on repeat until jumper off or power down
- FT mode: when FT jumper is shorted, all the sound detected at MIC will be direct playback to speaker.
